How to Add an Invisible Character to Your Instagram Bio
Published · Updated · By InvisibleChar
Instagram bios look sharper with breathing room — a blank line between your name and your link, or an empty-looking bio that stands out. The problem: Instagram's text filter silently removes some invisible characters, especially the zero-width space (U+200B). What works reliably is the Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800) or the Hangul Filler (U+3164).

Works on WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, PUBG, Free Fire.
Step-by-step (iPhone and Android)
- Open the invisible character tool above and keep Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800) selected.
- Set length to 1 for a single blank line, or 3–5 if you want wider spacing.
- Tap Copy Invisible Text.
- Open Instagram → your profile → Edit profile → Bio.
- Paste the invisible text where you want the blank line and tap Done (iPhone) or the checkmark (Android).
Why one character is usually enough
Instagram renders U+2800 as a real (blank) character, so a single paste creates one empty line. If you want two blank lines, paste twice with a line break between them — type Enter, paste, Enter, paste.
If it doesn't stick
Instagram sometimes reverts the bio when it rejects a character. Don't keep retrying the same one — switch to Hangul Filler (U+3164) in the tool and repeat. Between these two methods, one virtually always works.
A note on "blank" bios
A fully empty-looking bio is allowed, but Instagram still requires the field to contain something — which is exactly what the invisible character provides. Don't use third-party "bio spacer" apps that ask for your login; clipboard copy is safer and faster.
